From the American 9-5 Hustle to Harvesting Olives on a Mediterranean Island

I'm an American woman who decided to ditch the typical 9-5 office gig and follow my heart to the Mediterranean island of Sardinia to chase love and dance among the olive trees. It's been a wild ride since I made the leap to Italy in 2020 – a journey filled with olives, self-discovery, and lots of love.
My husband, Enrico, comes from a five-generation family of Sardinian olive farmers and in my very first year in Sardinia, I was thrown right into the groves, where I instantly fell in love. From the moment I tasted my husband’s olive oil, the difference from what I bought at supermarkets in the US was astounding and I quickly realized that I had never really tasted pure extra virgin olive oil.
Since then, my husband and I decided to start our own company selling our olive oil to the rest of the world, and in the process, learning more about the art of making exceptional liquid gold. Now I’m ready to share everything I have learned thus far and continue to learn every day directly from my experiences working in the industry and producing olive oil myself.
